Shetarrah is a seasoned organizer with over a decade of experience advocating for policies aligned with her values. Honored in her community for her leadership, she has worked with grassroots and political organizations locally and nationally. In the 2020 General election season, Shetarrah worked for a Democrat PAC instrumental in working with candidates ranging from local city council seats to congressional to ensure key seats nationwide were filled with Democrats that policies and potentials matched her shared vision. After the 2020 presidential general victory, Shetarrah temporarily moved to Georgia to work with the Georgia Democrats to successfully ensure that there is now a Democratic Majority in the Senate. After this victory, She returned to California and was recognized and awarded by the state as a leader in the community. She was ready to transition from campaigns to the government sector upon her return. However, she waited for a candidate with whom she felt values and policy goals aligned. After working on the Assembly District 54th runoff, Shetarrah became the youngest black woman in California’s History to serve as a District Director for the California State Assembly. Currently, she serves as District Director to the Chair of Natural Resources committee, Assemblymember Isaac G. Bryan . Shetarrah is an ADEM Delegate, Black Los Angeles Young Democrats Board Member, Los Angeles County’s Young Democrat Board Chair of the Women’s Committee, Vice President of Black Women’s Democratic Club, and youngest Director for Reproductive Freedom for All CA Privacy PAC.
